RESPECT
RESPECT programs consist of educational theater presentations paired with panel or group discussions led by community professionals and actor-educators. Our programs address a combination of relationship topics including bullying (physical, emotional, verbal and social), impulse control, teen-dating-violence, positive bystander behavior, self-injurious behavior, drug and alcohol abuse, child abuse and internet safety. Every program provided is age and content appropriate for its audience. Our goals at RESPECT are to decrease the acts of bullying and abuse, but, even more important, to empower kids and adults who may be on the sidelines to take action and stand up to help a target. Our programs are designed to let individuals come up with their own solutions and own methods for making their schools and environments comfortable and safe places. We offer programs for large student groups, small workshops for students as well as workshops for adults.
Though RESPECT has program fees, thanks to the generous support of foundations, there are many scholarships to reduce that cost to hosting schools and organizations.
